Hello! My name is Jenn Liv (刘洁颖). I am an award-winning Chinese Canadian-American freelance illustrator and educator. I am also the recipient of the Silver Medal from The Society of Illustrators 66, Advertising category. My work has also been recognized by American Illustration, ADC Annual Awards, and 3x3 Magazine. Since 2015, I have worked with a reputable roster of clients including Cadillac, Google, Microsoft, AirBnB, All Nippon Airways, NPR, The New York Times, and many more. I specialize in editorial and conceptual illustration, but I am open to illustrating for any kind of market or creative brief. Recently I have expanded my practice to encompass augmented reality, murals and motion design.

 

Currently I am based in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born in Buffalo, New York in 1990, and raised in Toronto, Ontario Canada for the majority of my life. In 2023, I moved to Tucson, Arizona to accept a position as an tenure-track assistant professor at The University of Arizona, School of Art. As of 2026, I am now a full-time Professor of Illustration at SCAD, Atlanta campus.

Outside of work, I am fond of J-RPGs, Asian hip-hop and

pop music, and anything currently trending within the nerd community.
